Creating a customer-centric experience for Motilal Oswal's online investing and trading platforms was crucial, as the brand had multiple mobile applications making it extremely confusing for new users to download and engage with the system. The challenge was not only to simplify the complex domain of finance but to also focus on engaging and attracting newer users onto the platform.
Based on stakeholder interviews, best practices, and expert review, we were able to identify the core problem areas in the existing design. The app was extremely overwhelming and cluttered for users, data provided by the brand was inconsistent and users found it hard to navigate through the app. Additionally, the brand had multiple apps on the play store and app store making it very confusing for users to download the right app to start their trading and investment journey with Motilal Oswal.
